After a LONG blogging hiatus....

This summer I basically took a break from everything... research, my masters, writing, reading (except for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, of course!), knitting, and blogging. I've kept up with everyone else's blogs, but haven't had any knitting to write about and therefore just decided to not write at all. So a lot has been going on since the end of the school year. Dave and I went to Cancun right after finals.... here's a few pics of paradise.... I've been working at the learning center which, as always, is great! And I've also been working with a classmate and a few faculty members at Suffolk on developing a literacy/mentorship program for court-involved youth in Boston. So far, it has been an amazing experience and we hope to get the program off the group in the fall. I'm so excited!!! As for knitting... I have NOTHING to report. I can't decide what I want to make. I really want to make a cable knit cardigan for myself, but I haven't yet ordered any yarn or decided on a pattern. Gotta keep searching....
